Municipal Engineering Project Manager
IEC is seeking a Municipal Engineering Project Manager level engineer.

Responsibilities; include, but not limited to:

  • Managing and prepare design plans, specifications, details, reports, calculations, construction schedules and cost estimates for various Site, Street and Drainage Capital Improvement Program projects.
  • Assisting with marketing new projects.
  • Routine contract administration
  • Coordination with subconsultants and other project team members

Job qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Civil Engineering
  • Professional registration in California
  • Between 7 to 15 years experience in municipal engineering services with preference towards site civil design, storm drain and street design, and development review/planchecking
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • A Team Player with initiative

Engineering Positions Available in the Oceanside , California Office:

Engineer III
IEC is seeking an Engineer III to work in the Planning & IS department with an emphasis on hydraulic modeling of water distribution systems and wastewater collection systems.

 Responsibilities; include, but not limited to:

  • Prepare and/or modify planning documents including utility Master Plans, feasibility studies and utility impact studies AutoCAD.
  • Development and analysis of water and wastewater system hydraulic models
  • Development of GIS data and databases.
  • Use of GIS to support hydraulic modeling and planning projects.

Education: BS Engineering/PE required

Required Experience/Qualifications:
The following qualifications are required for these positions:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.
  • Energetic and ready to take-on responsibility in a variety of roles.
  • 3-5 years experience.
  • PE required.

The ideal candidates will also have working knowledge of ArcMap (ESRI)
