IEC is committed to developing a professional staff with a high level of technical expertise. The Company encourages and supports active participation in professional organizations, and technical and management training.

On a case-by-case basis IEC will cover annual dues and fees in support of its employee’s passion and commitment to an organization. IEC will also pay for management and technical training, along with leadership development seminars and courses on a case-by-case basis.

State law requires professional engineering registration as a prerequisite for assuming and performing professional engineering services. It is mandatory for employees to obtain professional registration prior to assuming such role. Upon successful passing, the testing requirement and obtaining registration IEC will reimburse the employee for the registration exam fee.

Periodically, in-house training sessions will be provided by management staff, outside vendors, and technical consultants to keep staff abreast of new technologies, current safety standards, management techniques, and other professional development topics.

IEC recognizes the future of the company lies with its employees. In order to develop the next generation of management and technical leaders, IEC has implemented a volunteer mentoring program. Those wishing to participate are matched up with a senior manager/principal of their choice to work on career building, leadership development, and technical advancement.
