Miramonte Reservoir

IEC managed the construction of the 2.3 MG Miramonte Reservoir for the City of Mountain View. The project consisted of construction of a semi-buried, reinforced concrete potable water reservoir. Included within the project are the inlet/outlet ductile iron piping, motor controlled inlet/outlet valving, electrical and instrumentational SCADA systems, several underground vaults, and extensive landscaping and irrigation of the completed site.

Some unique features of this project include the location of the reservoir site. Surrounded on all sides by residential communities, the project included the installation of a 12 foot high sound wall around the project site during construction. Also included is a colored concrete topping slab on the reservoir roof to better blend the exposed reservoir roof with the surrounding community.
