Libby Lake Drainage Analysis IEC provided alternatives with cost estimates, benefits, and limitations to eliminate flooding of the park. We worked with staff to determine the preferred alternative and will implement that alternative. Annual Slurry Seal Project IEC worked with City interns to maximize City staff utilization. The preparation work for the proposed sealed streets included under the annual overlay project to maximize the likelihood of receiving bids from a slurry seal contractor and minimizing the unit costs. The project used rubberized emulsion aggregate slurry. Annual Overlay Project IEC developed unit quantity and estimate worksheet to promote efficiency and clear understanding of quantities represented in the bid schedule. The project involved working within City’s timetable, avoiding the holiday and summer season. Annual Sidewalk Replacement Project IEC again worked with City interns to maximize City staff utilization. We incorporated repairs initiated by the “Supporting Urban Neighborhoods—2004” into the project and worked within the programs specific schedule. As Needed Development Review Services IEC provided as needed assistance with discretionary and planchecking on tentative maps, final maps, grading and improvement plans. We also assisted the City with developing planchecking standard and checklists. |
