Company Contact: IEC Promotes Jamie Taylor to Engineer II Poway , California -- February 9, 2007 -- Infrastructure Engineering Corporation, an engineering and construction management consulting firm, announced the promotion of Jamie Taylor to Engineer II. Taylor started at IEC as an intern for the Construction Management department and then moved to the Engineering department. She has experience in a range of engineering tasks including quantity takeoffs, preparing engineering plans, cost estimates, specifications and engineering calculations. Her design experience includes horizontal and vertical pipe alignment design, engineering calculations and utility research. She has experience working with the City of Oceanside, the County of San Diego, and numerous Water Districts within San Diego County. Her next challenges will include the design engineer role on the Otay 36-inch pipeline and the Chino Hills Sleepy Hollow Water System. She is also very active in the engineering community, and belongs to several professional organizations through SDSU. Currently, Taylor serves as the editor for San Diego Chapter of the Water ReUse Association. Taylor earned a BS Civil Engineering from San Diego State University in 2006. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Civil Engineering at San Diego State. ### |
